The new Siri is also reportedly being built around Google’s Gemini AI models, marking a significant shift in Apple’s traditionally closed technology approach.
While Apple has not officially confirmed a direct partnership with Nvidia for Siri, the reported arrangement suggests that Nvidia’s high-performance AI hardware could play an important behind-the-scenes role in making Siri faster, smarter and more capable of handling complex user requests.
Why Apple, Nvidia & Google's Partnership Matters?
For years, Siri has been one of Apple’s most recognisable features, but also one of its most criticised. While the assistant helped popularise voice-based commands on smartphones, it has struggled to match the conversational intelligence and task-handling ability of newer AI assistants.
The rise of ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI platforms has put fresh pressure on Apple.
