Noida, August 3, 2026: The 2nd Cambridge U-14 Inter-School Football Tournament 2026 began amid enthusiasm and sporting spirit at Cambridge School Noida on Monday, bringing together talented young footballers from prominent schools across Delhi-NCR.
The tournament was inaugurated by Cambridge School Noida Principal Surabhi Bhargava, Vice Principal Sheetal Mittal, Headmistress Monalisa Sunit Kumar, and SAE Sports Executive Kushank Rustagi.
Addressing the participating teams, the dignitaries encouraged the students to compete with discipline, teamwork, determination and true sportsmanship.
Cambridge School Noida Opens Boys’ Campaign With Victory
Four league matches were played in the boys’ category at the Senior Wing of Cambridge School Noida.
In the opening encounter, host Cambridge School Noida delivered an impressive all-round performance to defeat Heritage Xperiential Learning School, Noida, 3–0.
Army Public School, Noida, secured a narrow 1–0 victory against Amity International School, Noida, in a closely contested match.
Somerville School, Noida, registered a 2–0 win over Somerville School, Greater Noida, while Apeejay School, Noida, defeated Cambridge School Greater Noida by the same margin.

The girls’ category matches were held simultaneously at the Junior Wing of Cambridge School Noida.
Shri Ram Global School, Noida Extension, began its campaign with a commanding 4–0 victory over Bharti Public School, Swasthya Vihar.
Shiv Nadar School, Noida, produced one of the day’s most dominant performances, defeating Cambridge School Noida 6–1.
In another match, Army Public School, Noida, registered a 2–0 victory against Cambridge School Srinivaspuri.
