The Cambridge U-14 Inter-School Football Tournament 2026 delivered another action-packed day as young footballers competed in exciting matches across the boys’ and girls’ categories.

Participating schools showcased impressive teamwork, discipline and determination on the second day of the tournament, producing commanding victories as well as closely contested encounters.

Army Public School Registers Dominant Victory

In the boys’ category, Army Public School, Noida delivered one of the strongest performances of the day, defeating Cambridge School Indirapuram 7–0.

Shri Ram Global School, Noida Extension also registered an impressive result, securing a 4–1 victory against Cambridge School Srinivaspuri.

Somerville School, Noida continued its excellent run in the tournament with a comprehensive 6–0 win over Cambridge School Srinivaspuri.

In another boys’ fixture, Cambridge School Greater Noida earned three important points after recording a well-deserved 2–0 victory over Step by Step School.

Exciting Contests in Girls’ Category

The girls’ fixtures also witnessed some impressive performances.

Shri Ram Global School, Noida Extension began its campaign in dominant fashion, defeating Cambridge School Greater Noida 4–0.

Cambridge School Indirapuram and Army Public School, Noida were involved in one of the closest matches of the day. Both sides created several scoring opportunities before the contest ended in a 1–1 draw.

In the final girls’ fixture, Shiv Nadar School, Noida produced an excellent all-round performance to defeat Amity International School, Noida 3–0.

Seven More Matches Scheduled

A total of 14 matches have been played during the first two days of the tournament across the boys’ and girls’ categories.

The participating teams have displayed strong competitive spirit, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The tournament will continue with seven more matches scheduled for the following day as schools compete to secure their positions in the knockout stage.
