Police have increased security outside the residence of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke in the Waluj MIDC area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Authorities said the deployment was expanded to prevent overcrowding and maintain law and order ahead of Dipke’s anticipated arrival in India.
According to officials, a team of ten police personnel, led by an officer, has now been stationed at the residence, replacing the earlier arrangement of a single guard. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Pankaj Atulkar said additional manpower could be deployed if required following a security review. Police also confirmed that Dipke’s parents are currently not residing at the Waluj home.

12:00 PM IST — 40 Companies of Parliament on Ground
Around 40 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed to assist the Delhi Police in maintaining law and order. Senior officers, including Joint Commissioners of Police, Deputy Commissioners of Police, Additional DCPs and ACPs from various districts, have been assigned field duties to supervise security arrangements.
Officials confirmed that metro services would continue to operate normally, while adequate arrangements had been made to ensure smooth movement of commuters and prevent any disruption to public life. Police maintained that sufficient security arrangements were in place and that the situation remained under control.

11:27AM IST - Abhijeet Dipke joined the planned demonstration at Jantar Mantar amid heavy security.
Hundreds of youths turned out for the protest, many of whom were wearing cockroach masks and holding flowers. School students were also seen attending the protest along with their parents. The majority of the participants were a mix of school and college students, along with young professionals.
Scores of students gathered at the venue, chanting slogans and demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Dipke, who arrived in Delhi early in the day, had urged supporters to maintain discipline and ensure that the protest remains peaceful.

Right after Dipke cleared immigration, things got tense. Some followers claimed officers — around 10 to 15 of them, both in uniform and plain clothes — surrounded Dipke and took him somewhere nobody knew. They lost contact with him and suspected he was detained. Later, though, Dipke showed up walking out of the airport, clearing up the confusion.

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the satirical digital group Cockroach Janta Party, arrived at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport from the United States this morning (Saturday, June 6).
