Ghaziabad, September 15, 2026: Rotary Club Ghaziabad Southend organised a Uniform and Stationery Distribution Project for students of Udaan School in Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad, on Tuesday.
The programme was held at Udaan School, R-14/87, Raj Nagar, at 10:30 am. School uniforms, books, notebooks and stationery items were distributed among the students to support their education and daily school needs. Refreshments were also arranged for all the students.
AG Rtn Ajay Sharma attended the programme as the special guest. The project was sponsored by Rtn Rakesh Goel and Rtn Renu Goel.
Members of the club welcomed AG Rtn Ajay Sharma and thanked him for taking time out of his schedule to attend the programme. He thanked the club members for inviting him and appreciated the initiative taken for the students.
Speaking at the programme, Sharma said school uniforms help children develop confidence, a sense of equality and a stronger connection with their school.
“Every child should have the opportunity to receive education with dignity. A school uniform gives children a sense of belonging and equality. Books, notebooks and stationery also help students continue their studies without worrying about basic learning material,” he said.
The club said the project was organised with the aim of helping students continue their education with the basic resources required in school.
Club President Rtn Dr. Alok Goel thanked the members, sponsors and the school team for their support.
He said, “The presence and participation of our members made this project possible and added to the happiness of the children. I thank Rtn Rakesh Goel and Rtn Renu Goel of Supercool for sponsoring the project. Their support will help these students in their education.”
Project sponsor Rtn Rakesh Goel also thanked the club members and everyone associated with the programme.
Rtn Neetu Agarwal said such projects can help provide children with the resources and encouragement they need to continue their education.
“Through projects like this, we can help children move forward with education, respect and hope. Every contribution towards a child's education can support his or her future,” she said.
Club Secretary Rtn Archana Agarwal thanked Udaan School's Sapna Ji, Shalini Ji and the teaching staff for their cooperation in organising the distribution programme.
The club members interacted with the students during the programme and took part in the distribution of uniforms and stationery. Refreshments were served to the students after the distribution.
The initiative was part of the club's focus on supporting education and helping children access basic school resources.
