In a meaningful step towards strengthening early childhood education in rural Gujarat, the Aimtron Foundation has inaugurated a pre-primary school exclusively for girls in Bhupghad village, near Rajkot. The initiative is part of the foundation’s long-term commitment to grassroots development, with a strong focus on education and women’s empowerment.
The newly opened school is expected to benefit over 100 young children from Bhupghad and nearby villages, offering them access to structured early education—something that remains limited in many rural pockets of the state. This marks the foundation’s second educational institution in the region, following the successful launch of its Tramba school.
At Bhupghad, learning goes beyond traditional methods. The school follows a bilingual, activity-based curriculum designed to nurture early literacy, numeracy, and cognitive skills. The emphasis is on creating an engaging, child-friendly environment where foundational learning becomes both accessible and enjoyable.
The Tramba school, which has been operational for over a year, has already demonstrated the impact of this model. By investing in quality infrastructure and trained educators, the foundation has been able to improve early learning outcomes—offering a scalable blueprint for similar rural interventions.
Founded in 2017, Aimtron Foundation has steadily expanded its footprint across Gujarat through initiatives in education, digital literacy, and vocational training. The numbers reflect both scale and intent—over 530 vocational training sessions conducted, 135 soft skills programs delivered, and more than 284 women trained in tailoring and garment production. These efforts have not only enhanced employability but also contributed to sustainable livelihoods at the community level.
Cumulatively, the foundation has impacted over 8,500 beneficiaries, reinforcing its approach of long-term, community-driven development rather than short-term outreach.
Speaking on the initiative, Mukesh Vasani, Founder of Aimtron Electronics, highlighted the deeper vision behind the effort. He noted that education forms the foundation for all progress, and what is being built in Bhupghad and Tramba goes beyond physical infrastructure—it is an investment in the future of these communities. He emphasised that the foundation’s focus has always been on working closely with grassroots realities, where the need is most urgent and the impact most enduring.
The Bhupghad school stands as part of Aimtron Foundation’s broader CSR strategy—one that prioritises measurable outcomes, especially in education and women’s empowerment, through sustained and deeply embedded community engagement.
