In a significant move that blends global lifestyle curation with India’s rapidly evolving urban culture, Quint Digital Limited has officially launched Time Out India, marking the entry of the globally renowned city discovery platform into the country.
The launch follows a franchise agreement signed with Time Out Group plc in May 2025. With this, India joins an international network that spans more than 350 cities worldwide, offering curated recommendations on food, culture, entertainment, and events.
A New Lens on City Life
Time Out India will begin with dedicated digital platforms for Delhi and Mumbai, aiming to serve both residents and visitors with insider-led recommendations. The platform is designed to go beyond listings, focusing instead on authentic, on-ground experiences curated by local journalists and experts.
Backed by a strong global editorial legacy, the platform combines storytelling with discovery—covering everything from hidden food gems and cultural hotspots to film, nightlife, and city events.
Delhi to Host India’s First Time Out Market
In a parallel development, Quint Digital also announced that India’s first-ever Time Out Market will be set up in the capital. The flagship venue will come up at Worldmark Aerocity, strategically located near Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Expected to open in the second half of 2026, the market will span around 24,500 sq ft and feature a carefully curated mix of 11 kitchens, two bars, and a live performance stage. With a seating capacity of approximately 500 guests, the space is envisioned as a cultural and culinary hub.
Unlike conventional food courts, the Time Out Market model focuses on editorially curated experiences—bringing together some of the city’s most celebrated chefs, restaurateurs, and artists under one roof.
Why India, Why Now
Announcing the launch, Chris Ohlund said India’s diverse food culture and digitally active audience make it a natural fit for the brand’s global expansion.
On the domestic front, Ritu Kapur highlighted that Delhi offers the perfect ecosystem to introduce the Time Out Market concept, given its vibrant mix of global exposure and local cultural depth.
Meanwhile, Raghav Bahl described the partnership as a strategic expansion into the lifestyle and commerce segment, adding a new dimension to the company’s content-driven ecosystem.
What Lies Ahead
The collaboration between Quint Digital and Time Out Group is not limited to Delhi. As part of the broader agreement, there is potential to expand the Time Out Market concept to other Indian cities in the coming years.
With this launch, India’s urban experience landscape is set to gain a globally recognised platform—one that merges digital discovery with real-world engagement.
