Students of Galgotias University have developed and launched 34 iOS applications on the Apple App Store under the university’s iOS Student Developer Program, powered by Apple and Infosys. The apps have been built across areas such as education, healthcare, accessibility, wellbeing, productivity, lifestyle, and social impact. According to the university, many of these applications are focused on solving everyday problems and creating useful digital tools for people. With the support of faculty mentors and industry-led learning, students are getting the opportunity to work on real products beyond classroom projects. Galgotias University said the progress reflects its focus on building practical learning spaces, modern laboratories, and an environment where students can test ideas and turn them into working applications. Speaking on the achievement, Dr Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer, Galgotias University , said, “Technology education must lead to actionable solutions that are oriented towards solving real-world problems. The university said this support has helped strengthen the culture of innovation on campus. The university also highlighted that 18 students from Galgotias University won the Apple Swift Student Challenge 2026 , the highest number from any private university in India. Their projects were based on themes such as accessibility, healthcare, education, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. Galgotias University said several more student-developed apps are currently in different stages of development and testing. The institution is also expanding its focus on areas such as app development, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, robotics, data science, and digital product innovation.
