InCred Capital has appointed Abhinav Khanna as Chief Executive Officer, Capital Markets, putting him in charge of the company’s Institutional Equities, Equity Capital Markets and Asset Services (Prime) businesses.
The appointment was announced on August 6, 2026. Khanna joins InCred Capital with more than 25 years of experience across institutional equities, capital markets and investment management. His career includes assignments in India, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.
In his new role, Khanna will oversee areas that connect institutional investors and companies with equity research, trading, capital raising and related market services.

As CEO, Capital Markets, Khanna will be responsible for three areas within InCred Capital:
- Institutional Equities
- Equity Capital Markets
- Asset Services (Prime)
InCred Capital said it is also expanding its work across research, sales and trading, block execution, equity capital markets and corporate access.
The appointment puts Khanna at the centre of this expansion as InCred Capital works to increase its business with institutional investors and companies.
The company has not provided further details in its appointment announcement on the individual services covered under its Asset Services (Prime) business.

Abhinav Khanna joins InCred Capital from ValueQuest
Before joining InCred Capital, Khanna served as Managing Director and Chief Business Officer, Global at ValueQuest Investment Advisors.
At ValueQuest, he was responsible for the firm's international business strategy and growth initiatives.
ValueQuest Investment Advisors is an investment management firm with operations across public markets and alternative investment strategies. Khanna was associated with its efforts to build relationships with investors beyond India.
His experience at ValueQuest added investment management and international business responsibilities to a career that had already included several years in institutional equities.
InCred Capital plans expansion in institutional equities and capital markets
Khanna's appointment comes as InCred Capital expands several parts of its institutional and capital markets operations.
According to the company, areas of focus include:
- Equity research
- Institutional sales and trading
- Block execution
- Equity Capital Markets
- Corporate access
- Asset Services (Prime)
Equity Capital Markets generally covers transactions through which companies raise equity capital, including public market issuances and other equity fundraising transactions.
Institutional equities covers research, sales and execution services for institutional investors participating in equity markets.
Khanna's role will bring these areas, along with Asset Services, under his Capital Markets mandate.

InCred Capital's institutional business
InCred Capital is part of the InCred Group and operates across institutional financial services, wealth management, asset management, alternative investments and investment banking.
The InCred Group was founded by Bhupinder Singh in 2016. According to the company's website, the InCred Capital wholesale banking business began operations in September 2018.
InCred Capital's website currently states that its Institutional Equity business has served more than 270 clients.
The company also lists approximately US$7 billion in investment banking deal volume handled on its website.
Its investment banking operations include mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, structured finance and equity capital markets services.

Khanna brings experience from both sides of the institutional investment business. His Citi career was centred on institutional equities, while his role at ValueQuest involved investment management and international business development.
His immediate mandate at InCred Capital covers institutional investors, corporate relationships, equity research, market execution, equity fundraising and asset services.
